She had called the cleaners to go and clean up the mess. They had gone to clean the room and got rid of the dead bodies. The maid reported for work on Monday and she was part of the League. Linda hadn’t come out of bed since on Saturday when she witnessed the most horror thing happening to her. Nyasha on the other hand had pretended as if nothing had happened. She couldn’t even remember what she had done to the 4 men. Her last recall of her memory was when her grandmother left the city, after that she was blank and didn’t remember anything. It was already on a Tuesday and Linda didn’t know that the maid had come. She was still locked in her room.
‘Auntie Linda is supposed to drive me to school. She hasn’t been out of her room since Saturday,’ said Nyasha to the maid.
‘Have you tried knocking?’
‘She hates being disturbed when she is sleeping and I am scared to ask her to drive me to school.
‘Just go and try.’
‘Okay.’
Nyasha walked to Linda’s room and knocked on the door. When Linda heard the noise as she had been sitting at the corner curled there, she jumped on her two feet. She had been wearing the bloody clothes and hadn’t removed them.
‘It’s me Nyasha.’
When she heard that it was Nyasha, she became more scared. She didn’t want to see her. She didn’t want to see Nyasha; she was scared of her and what she will do to her. She had spared her life on Saturday when she screamed but she didn’t know if she was still safe in the house. She had wanted to call her mother but was too scared to tell her that she brought a creature in their house. The door opened on its own and Nyasha thought Linda was the one who had unlocked it. When Linda noticed that the door had unlocked and Nyasha had just walked inside her room, she screamed hiding from her.
‘Auntie Linda what’s wrong?’ asked the now confused Nyasha.
‘How did you open that door?’
‘You opened it. What’s wrong Auntie? Why are you wearing those bloodied clothes?’ asked Nyasha as she walked towards her.
‘Stop!’ shouted Linda and Nyasha stopped walking.
‘Get out of my room with that man.’
‘What man?’
Nyasha didn’t understand what Linda was referring to.
‘The naked man behind you.’
‘Huh!’
Nyasha looked back and there was nothing.
‘Auntie Linda!’
‘You killed those men Nyasha. The maid followed Nyasha to Linda’s room and Linda was screaming with her hands on her tummy.
‘What’s wrong with her?’ asked Nyasha in a cry.
‘You go to school. I will help her,’ said the maid as she closed the door for Nyasha and locked it.
‘Thelma,’ Nyasha called out the maid’s name while banging the door.
‘Go to school Nyasha.’
Nyasha was crying worried about her Auntie. If only she knew that she was the main reason why Linda was in that state. Nyasha went to sit in the dining room; she didn’t want to go to school after making sure that Linda was going to be okay. She wanted to know what was wrong with her and why she was wearing those bloodied clothes. An hour passed and 3 men wearing white clothes just knocked at the door. Nyasha stood up and went to open the door for them.
‘Can I help you?’ asked Nyasha.
‘She is here,’ responded Thelma.
They passed Nyasha and walked inside the room. Why was she wearing those clothes?’
‘Nyasha, I will tell you everything if you let them pass,’ said Thelma.
Nyasha let them pass but still she wasn’t sure of what was going on. She believed what Thelma had said to her. Nyasha decided to go to school the next following day while Linda was placed at a mental hospital. First day at school, Nyasha couldn’t stop thinking about her Auntie Linda. She felt as if there was more to what Thelma had said to her. She felt as if some details were missing and she was trying so hard to remember something awful that had happened but her mind wouldn’t let her, it was as if though she had been blocked.
‘Hie,’ she greeted her as she sat next to her.
‘Hie,’ Nyasha responded.
‘You are deep in your thoughts. Are you okay?’
‘I am fine thanks,’ Nyasha faked a smile.
‘I am Fadzai,’ she extended her hand.
‘Nyasha,’ so did she.
‘You are very beautiful in person. Now I understand why he chose you. Diablo have got a choice and taste of preference,’ she wanted to say but instead said, ‘this is my second year and you?’
‘It’s my first year and first day.’
‘Interesting, what are you studying?’
‘Biochemical,’ replied Nyasha.
‘Wow and intelligent as well,’ said Fadzai.
‘What?’
‘No nothing. I am sure none of the students has showed you around. Instead of you sitting there alone. Let’s take a walk.’
The two got up and Fadzai showed her the places she needed to know.
..
Aretha had heard what had happened to her daughter and knew this was the works of Diablo. She patiently waited for him at his office. He had just come back from his trip. He walked inside the room and Aretha quickly got up from her chair. He gestured her to sit back as he placed his jacket on the chair.
‘Aretha.’
‘Diablo.’
‘What can I not do for you?’ with his deep husky voice he asked.
‘Diablo, the great one, master of all tribes and the heir to the demon. I am sorry my master, I am sorry for my little heiress tried to hurt your Queen. Please forgive her and make her come back to her right senses.’
‘Aretha, do you know that you are asking a lot from me?’
Aretha got up from the chair and knelt down on the floor.
‘Dablo, I gave you my older one and you promised to leave my little one once your Queen is left all alone in this world. I did what you asked of me and sacrificed her parents. Dablo, please you can’t take my only daughter away from me.’
Dablo shifted from his chair. He wasn’t the one who had caused Linda to get sick, it was Nyasha.
‘It wasn’t me Aretha,’ he said with a smile spread across his face.
He was happy that Nyasha was the chosen one; she was the right woman for him. The one who was going to take after him, the one whom he was going to rule all the tribes with.
‘It’s my Queen; she is the one who made Linda sick.’
‘I don’t understand.’
‘The medicine you gave her Aretha, it wasn’t meant for her to have more powers to defend herself. Linda disrespected her and almost killed her. She is now getting the punishment that she deserves. I keep my promises Aretha and Linda will not hide. She is just locked from the real world, from reality but with time she shall be released.’
‘Thank you very much Dablo.’
‘You can now get up Aretha. You have done a lot and Fadzai just updated me, Nyasha is in good hands. Thank you Aretha.’
‘Anything for you.’
‘You shall be rewarded.’
The two smiled at each other.
..
‘Thank you for driving me home Fadzai,’ thanked Nyasha as she parked at her gate.
‘Sure.’
Nyasha got out of the car.
‘I will see you tomorrow,’ said Fadzai and Nyasha waved at her.
As Nyasha was walking at the door, she couldn’t help but feel as if someone was following her. She just felt as if she was being watched. She brushed off the thought and opened the door. Thelma had just been preparing supper.
‘Hey love.’
‘Hey Thelma.’
‘How was your first day at school?’
‘It was okay.’
‘You don’t look well. What’s wrong?’
‘I am worried about Auntie Linda. Is she really going to be okay?’ she asked concerned.
‘Yes, child. She will be fine. You go have a bath and I will prepare your supper.’
‘Thank you Thelma.’
Nyasha went to take a bath and when she finished she wrapped herself with a towel. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. This time around her eyes had turned red.
‘How do I look?’
‘Beautiful my queen,’ he replied while standing behind her.
‘Were you watching me bath?’
‘Yes, are you mad at me?’
‘Not at all my King. I got rid of Linda.’
‘You did a great job. Take good care of yourself for me.’
‘I will.’
When her eyes turned white, Nyasha felt a cold breeze chill her skin. She felt as if someone had been in the room with her.
‘Am I imagining things?’ she asked herself.
She walked out of the bathroom and screamed when Thelma appeared from nowhere.
‘I am sorry if I startled you.’
‘It’s okay, I am just not myself,’ said Nyasha as she walked to her room.
‘I am going out for just few minutes. Food is on the table.’
‘Okay, thank you. Be safe.’
‘I will,’ said Thelma and she walked out the room.
Nyasha got dressed.
One of Forbes’ brothers was worried when Forbes hadn’t gotten in touch with him. He knew that the last person he had talked to when he disappeared was Linda. What he did was to find out Linda’s house. He was watching when Nyasha was dropped off by Fadzai at her house. He didn’t leave his spot and waited until the lights were switched off. He got out of his car when he saw Thelma leaving the house in her car. He got out of the car and walked to the door. Nyasha had just come down from upstairs when he heard a tap at the door. She thought maybe it was Thelma, maybe she had forgotten something, she thought to herself as she walked to the door. She opened the door only to find a man in his late 30s standing there.
‘Can I help you?’ Nyasha asked.
‘I am looking for my brother Forbes,’ he said to Nyasha.
Nyasha’s eyes immediately changed to red.
.
.
.
Amy", "to": [ "https://www.w3.org/ns/activitystreams#Public" ], "cc": [ "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/1126834559124512776/followers" ], "tag": [], "url": "https://www.minds.com/newsfeed/1202148484084891648", "published": "2021-01-30T07:08:53+00:00", "source": { "content": "NEVER LOST\n.\n.\n.\nEpisode 4\nAretha already knew what had happened back at the house without having been told. Let’s take a walk.’\nThe two got up and Fadzai showed her the places she needed to know.\n..\nAretha had heard what had happened to her daughter and knew this was the works of Diablo. She patiently waited for him at his office. He had just come back from his trip. He walked inside the room and Aretha quickly got up from her chair. He gestured her to sit back as he placed his jacket on the chair.\n‘Aretha.’\n‘Diablo.’\n‘What can I not do for you?’ with his deep husky voice he asked.\n‘Diablo, the great one, master of all tribes and the heir to the demon. I am sorry my master, I am sorry for my little heiress tried to hurt your Queen. Please forgive her and make her come back to her right senses.’\n‘Aretha, do you know that you are asking a lot from me?’\nAretha got up from the chair and knelt down on the floor.\n‘Dablo, I gave you my older one and you promised to leave my little one once your Queen is left all alone in this world. I did what you asked of me and sacrificed her parents. Dablo, please you can’t take my only daughter away from me.’\nDablo shifted from his chair. He wasn’t the one who had caused Linda to get sick, it was Nyasha.\n‘It wasn’t me Aretha,’ he said with a smile spread across his face.\nHe was happy that Nyasha was the chosen one; she was the right woman for him. The one who was going to take after him, the one whom he was going to rule all the tribes with.\n‘It’s my Queen; she is the one who made Linda sick.’\n‘I don’t understand.’\n‘The medicine you gave her Aretha, it wasn’t meant for her to have more powers to defend herself. Linda disrespected her and almost killed her. She is now getting the punishment that she deserves. I keep my promises Aretha and Linda will not hide. She is just locked from the real world, from reality but with time she shall be released.’\n‘Thank you very much Dablo.’\n‘You can now get up Aretha. You have done a lot and Fadzai just updated me, Nyasha is in good hands. Thank you Aretha.’\n‘Anything for you.’\n‘You shall be rewarded.’\nThe two smiled at each other.\n..\n‘Thank you for driving me home Fadzai,’ thanked Nyasha as she parked at her gate.\n‘Sure.’\nNyasha got out of the car.\n‘I will see you tomorrow,’ said Fadzai and Nyasha waved at her.\nAs Nyasha was walking at the door, she couldn’t help but feel as if someone was following her. She just felt as if she was being watched. She brushed off the thought and opened the door. Thelma had just been preparing supper.\n‘Hey love.’\n‘Hey Thelma.’\n‘How was your first day at school?’\n‘It was okay.’\n‘You don’t look well. What’s wrong?’\n‘I am worried about Auntie Linda. Is she really going to be okay?’ she asked concerned.\n‘Yes, child. She will be fine. You go have a bath and I will prepare your supper.’\n‘Thank you Thelma.’\nNyasha went to take a bath and when she finished she wrapped herself with a towel. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. This time around her eyes had turned red.\n‘How do I look?’\n‘Beautiful my queen,’ he replied while standing behind her.\n‘Were you watching me bath?’\n‘Yes, are you mad at me?’\n‘Not at all my King. I got rid of Linda.’\n‘You did a great job. Take good care of yourself for me.’\n‘I will.’\nWhen her eyes turned white, Nyasha felt a cold breeze chill her skin. She felt as if someone had been in the room with her.\n‘Am I imagining things?’ she asked herself.\nShe walked out of the bathroom and screamed when Thelma appeared from nowhere.\n‘I am sorry if I startled you.’\n‘It’s okay, I am just not myself,’ said Nyasha as she walked to her room.\n‘I am going out for just few minutes. Food is on the table.’\n‘Okay, thank you. Be safe.’\n‘I will,’ said Thelma and she walked out the room.\nNyasha got dressed.\nOne of Forbes’ brothers was worried when Forbes hadn’t gotten in touch with him. She opened the door only to find a man in his late 30s standing there.\n‘Can I help you?’ Nyasha asked.\n‘I am looking for my brother Forbes,’ he said to Nyasha.\nNyasha’s eyes immediately changed to red.\n.\n.\n.\nAmy", "mediaType": "text/plain" } }, "id": "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/1120520474393059348/entities/urn:activity:1202294872831655936/activity", "to": [ "https://www.w3.org/ns/activitystreams#Public" ], "cc": [ "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/1126834559124512776", "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/1120520474393059348/followers" ] }, { "type": "Announce", "actor": "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/1120520474393059348", "object": { "type": "Note", "id": "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/1128838152711053318/entities/urn:activity:1202168298094575616", "attributedTo": "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/1128838152711053318", "content": "The transformation begins, when you decide enough is enough.
