"content": "Everyone seemed unusually happy. That was my first time in his office. I've been working all along at his house.<br /><br />But he asked me to come over to the office. I must say I have never seen an office where virtually every staff is, or looks so happy and dedicated to duty.<br /><br />It was his secretary that welcomed me into the office. Evidently she didn't know me and the welcome was somewhat strange.<br /><br />Immediately we entered his office, I and the secretary, he raised his head from the desktop, put up a smile and said, \"Idongesit, is this hair new, it's so beautiful. Where is your phone, let me take you a photo?\".<br /><br />Like didn't this man notice me or is this how he \"flirts\" with his staff members. The lady had smiled till the time she left the office. Later the office attendant came in.<br /><br />When he entered, it was another routine and outpour of compliments. \"Udeme, this your new shirt fine o, where do you buy your shirts?\"<br /><br />\"Ah sir, na Okirika I dey wear o\"<br /><br />\"Then I'll start wearing Okirika then, let me know when next you want to buy, you'll buy two for me let me try them\".<br /><br />When the attendant left, he started talking with me, as usual, friendly. I got to work, finished the task and it was time for both to leave together.<br /><br />At the gate, he stopped by at the gate's man house and asked him about his wife, and everything and then concluding he would be leaving at that time.<br /><br />No, I didn't wonder why he was doing all this. I remember what he had told me some time ago, \"Loveday, character is the best security\". I understood what he meant .<br /><br />Many times he had said that he does not have to be in the office to get a job done, his colleagues would do the works efficiently even in his absence. It was true. I saw everything yesterday.<br /><br />Dear employee, boss, oga, it's not about how much you increase a staff member's salary. Character truly is the best security. <br /><br />You can make your work place a home for your workers depending on how well you relate with them, and this in turn, would increase productivity and efficiency. How well do you relate with your staff?<br /><br />Coordinating people requires empathy, sympathy and being sensitive to thing people's feelings, thoughts and emotions. I learnt that at his office yesterday.",

"content": "THE PRESSURE TRAP.<br /><br />Dear Dearest,<br /> 2021 ended with me hating myself so much that i questioned a lot of things. It was weird seeing my mood switch really quick from happy to sad in a split second.<br /><br /> I was drowning.<br /><br />So i decided to pen down everything i hate about myself in my journal and i found out that what i hated about myself were matters of growth and enjoying the process of things.<br /><br />I must also admit that my hate was fueled by pressure; i felt pressured so much that i felt that if everything i wanted didn't happen then it meant that i was done for. <br /><br />The pressure made me forget who is driving my boat, who calms my sea and who waters my effort. I set myself up for frustration and i got it. <br /><br />I know pastors say this :<br />\"IF YOU START ANYTHING WITHOUT GOD, BE PREPARED TO FINISH IT WITHOUT GOD\" and the saying is just right.<br /><br />I worked under pressure and i did learn few lessons:<br /><br />1. God doesn't work under pressure, he works in faith.<br />2. Looking at other people's journey and forgetting my own will only set me on a depressed lane.<br />3. Forgetting that i am helped by God will only make me struggle more.<br />4. A thousand days of waiting in God is better than a thousand years of restlessness. Don't waste the strength. <br /><br />Whatever you do this year make sure you avoid the pressure trap.<br /><br />The pressure to be a certain way,<br />The pressure to look like...<br />The pressure to talk like...<br />The pressure to earn like...<br /><br />Develop yourself by all means necessary, be valuable but don't let go of the sight of things that really matter.<br /><br />You will learn one day that happiness comes with great contentment.<br /><br />",

I asked myself if this inheritance thing is a thing of the future or it is a thing of now.<br /><br />Are we meant to wait our lifetime before we recieve it or is it already available?<br /><br />I know that for a person to recieve an inheritance he/she has to wait for their father to die. CHRIST HAS DIED.<br /><br />After the death, a lawyer has to read the will and evenly divide the properties according to the will of the deceased. THE HOLYSPIRIT READS GOD'S WILL.<br /><br />After all these has been done, Does the son/daughter wait till the future to claim what is already theirs? Do they walk in the expressions of the inheritance immediately?<br /><br />Why then do we as Christians make walking in the inheritance of faith a future thing? <br /><br />",
