It's shown to the guilty, by forgiving and giving them another opportunity to become better without paying for their wrong.<br /><br />God is merciful and He expects us to be merciful. It's amazing here because whosoever shows mercy will obtain mercy.<br /><br />In the world, we fall into mistakes occasionally. By virtue of our earthly disposition, we need God's mercy daily.<br /><br />His mercy grants us the privilege to live blameless and in sufficiency. In fact, it's by God's mercy that we are not consumed (Lamentations 3:22).<br /><br />Do you show mercy or are you merciful towards people? Do you still allow people that hurt you to be favoured?<br /><br />The merciful are blessed because they shall obtain mercy too.<br /><br />Show mercy to that annoying person today.<br /><br />Let's pray together<br />Merciful Father, thank you for blessing us by your mercy. It's a oneness that can't be separated by problems.<br /><br />In the world there are distractions. But with the Holy Spirit, victory is assured.<br /><br />Are you spiritually down? Are you struggling to pray or to serve God?<br /><br />Cry out to the Spirit of God and life shall be restored to your spirit.<br /><br />Let's pray together<br />Dear Father, thank you for your power and grace upon our lives. Victory is assured in Christ alone.<br /><br />The chaos and problems of this age seems to distract us from this truth. We tend to feel that if the favour is not here now, it won't be here again.<br /><br />The rush hour syndrome drives our hearts towards the instant pleasures of life and we tend to ask God \"why not now\".<br /><br />But the Almighty God is not just the God of now but also the God of later. He lives in the realms of eternity, where anything can be done by Him within microseconds.<br /><br />Stop the anxiety and worries, just wait on God. Let go of the fear of failure, just wait on God. Refuse to be afraid of what the enemy will do, just trust God.<br /><br />The Lord shall come for those that wait on Him. Even when we withdraw to ourselves, the devil can send his agents in human form to distract our peace.<br /><br />Thus, we must consciously hold our peace in the Lord. "content": "Luke 14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.<br /><br />In the Christian race, we must keep moving with Jesus, irrespective of the heaviness or ruggedness of our crosses.<br /><br />The cross is anything that happens in our lives to throw us off balance and make us feel pains. <br /><br />To some people, their cross is family problems, to some it's marital bitterness, to some it's financial struggles, to some it's sickness, to some it's spiritual battles, to some it's wrong accusations or other persecutions.<br /> <br /><br />Our cross is always something we can't run away from until God send help our way.<br /><br />But before the help comes, we must keep following Christ with it.<br /><br />To be a worthy disciple of Christ, we must follow Him, bearing our problems, for He's our solution. <br /><br />Don't abandon the race because of your cross. Jesus showed us example by carrying on till the end despite afflictions.<br /><br />God has never failed those that follow Him. Abraham followed Him and He made him a father of nations at a time no one expected. <br /><br />Joseph was faithful with his cross (family hatred) and God lifted him up in a strange land. <br /><br />Moses did not abandon God despite going from the palace to a Shepherd boy and he was rewarded at the end. <br /><br />I can go on and on to proof that the Almighty God doesn't forget anyone that carry his cross till the end. When the bills are paid, family members are in good health and the job is good, singing praises to God is a sweet thing. But brethren, what are you going to do when the going get tougher daily and it seems God is nowhere to be found even after days of fasting and prayers? What are you going to do in a situation you don't even know how long you are going to wait before He shows up? When friends advise you to abandon God's choice and go the easy logical way, what are you going to do?<br /><br />It's at this point of no evidence of God's presence, that you have to beat your chest and declare \"I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it\". This is a critical situation of enormous test of our stand in Christ because immediately after this declaration, the psalmist says \"and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints\". God expect us , not only wait on , but praise Him while waiting even when we don't know how long we are going to wait. This is because the best option is to wait until He comes and rain victory on us.<br />In the eyes of the world, waiting on God in the midst of other options might look foolish, for the word of God is foolishness to those that perish but to us it's the power of God (1Cor.1:18). It's this deep understanding and absolute trust in the tangibility and power of God that drives the devil crazy and prove to the world that we are who God says we are. In the midst of it all, never forget to declare like Job\"For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:\"(Job 19:25 ). When you hold on to this knowledge, the Almighty God will stand for you at the end. Jesus is never late, thus your miracle is not late.<br /><br />Let's pray together.<br />Abba Father, thank you for your sovereignty upon every affairs of our lives. The power to excell in ministry, business, career or academics without struggles is available in Christ Jesus. <br /><br />Brethren, when you have encounter with the power of God in Christ, every struggle cease.<br /><br />Trust Him today, for He's able to transform us beyond our imagination. <br /><br />Fix your focus on Christ, for He's able. Don't be distracted by the failing economy, difficulties in the world system or the wickedness of the age. Jesus remains the surest solution to all life issues. That same Jesus Christ is calling us to be the righteousness of God in Him.<br /><br />Take a look at yourself! Are the issues of life worth the distance from God and the struggles?<br /><br />This is a salient moment. Our flourishing is eternal. Don't be surprise, for evil plants exist as friends, brethren in church, evil thoughts, sicknesses, addictions, among others. <br /><br />But in the midst of these, there's a promise. Thus our focus should be on the promise. Let us turn back to the Almighty God, He who has promised and is able to uproot every unwanted people and things in our lives.<br /><br />Trust God to uproot unfriendly friends. Trust Him to destroy ungodly habits. Trust Him to uproot every shame and sickness. <br /><br />Trust Him to scatter evil relationships. In fact, anything negative shall be uprooted.
