A couple priests saw a frightened and ostracized child as an opportunity for a good time and I had to erase myself to make it stop.

My DID isn't a condition, it is a coping mechanism to deal with events so traumatic that they shaped the way I experience myself entirely. To hear other Queer people tell me not to talk about this in their supposedly safe spaces because they can't relate is just another group of mean-spirited adults telling me to get back in the closet.
