In simpler words, you will always be faced with a considerable amount of fear when you've set out to do something right and profitable. It is an orchestration of the devil to distract you from doing it at all.<br />Yes, the devil knows it that you're headed for breakthrough, and the only thing he can do to distract you from getting there is fear. He hopes this fear will scare you from going any further. That is when you'll begin to ask yourself questions like: What if I fail? What if it doesn't work out? Won't people laugh at me? Will it not be a waste of my time and money?<br /><br />But you'll never know the right answers if you don't try. These questions have once crossed the minds of the great people we know today and they only got answers to those questions by forging ahead anyway. <br />You must have come across the famous saying about courage not being the absence of fear but the willingness to face it. Only a fool knows no fear. Know that it is totally normal to be afraid. However, don't let that fear dissuade you from trying because your fear is only a front of the devil's own fear of seeing you excel.<br /><br />Face your fear!<br /><br />",

But all the setbacks to be encountered on the way are vital life lessons to help one achieve growth that will accommodate the success at the end of the journey.<br /><br />Take the Israelites as example. God had made them the promise of a splendid land, flowing with milk and honey but the journey to that land wasn't an easy one. They had to wander years in the wilderness, facing numerous difficulties so as to attain a level of enlightenment that was suitable for living in the promised Land. You'll also remember that those who wished to go back to Egypt never made it to the promised Land. That is a pointer to the danger of turning back or giving up in your life journey. It is a lose-lose situation when you're easily discouraged by setbacks. <br />Difficulties are only there to make you stronger and more prepared to guide your victory from the last-minute snatcher. The most important but largely unseen good about difficulties is that they help you move closer to God. So, in the journey of life, never be afraid of growth; never be weary of difficulties. We also cannot deny that there is a great peace of mind when we make others happy.<br />As such, we all have that intention to be good but intentions will only be intentions until they are acted upon. As much as we only keep wanting to help or give to people without starting with the little we have, nobody will receive anything or be helped.<br />Don't wait till you have a million dollars before helping the needy. Don't wait till you have a palace before sheltering the homeless. Right now is the most suitable time you'll ever have to put a smile on the face of others. Right now is the most suitable time you can serve God pleasurably. Do the best you can while you still can!",

We restrict our acts of kindness on grounds of gender, race, nationality, family name and even religion. So many of us are reluctant to give assistance to others just because their religions differ from ours or because they do not bear the same family name like us. <br />During the slave trade, a tribe would forbid the selling of a fellow tribesman into slavery but kidnapping and selling people from other tribes was not against the law. That has been the practice since time immemorial. We tend to think that we are meant to be good only to people in our family or tribe but that is a depravity that continues to deny the world a chance at getting better.<br />In all honesty, we were first humans before all these labels we put on ourselves. And until we begin to realise that each and everyone of us deserves to be loved and cared for regardless of our racial, religious or familial differences, the world might not become the haven we hope for.",

"content": "Okay, so I think I'll have to do this first.<br /><br />Hello guys!<br />I'm Hillary Powers by name and I'm so happy to be finally here on Minds. A very big thanks to my good friend, <a class=\"u-url mention\" href=\"https://www.minds.com/kibls\" target=\"_blank\">@kibls</a> for persuading me to join this platform. I've actually registered on the platform since three months but I've been in a state of lethargy ever since. Now, I'm fully back and ready to contribute my own quota.<br /><br />So, I've only mentioned my name. Now, let's have a little more information about me, shall we?<br />Hillary is a final year student of Language and Literary Studies and only has his graduation delayed, no thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown.<br />In addition to that, I'm a poet and author who has, at the moment, digitally published a handful of my poetry on different social media outlets and hopes to be legitimately published by the end of the year. (After the pandemic, so to speak) <br />Also, I'm a passionate lover of good music. Yes, not just any music but GOOD music. I love a wide variety of genres including but not limited to pop, CCM, Dance, folk, electronic, Metalcore, Alternative Rock, country music and a bit of rap music. Perhaps, this explains why some of my most favourite persons in the world are Avril Lavigne, Fleurie Noah Kahan, Joshua Hyslop, Michael Rosenberg, AKA, Passenger, Nate Ruess, Adam Lambert, Noah Kahan, Nate Feuerstein and those highly talented guys in Imagine Dragons and Kodaline. Trust me, I had to shorten the list as best as I could. Hehehe.<br /><br />In simpler words, all I've been trying to tell you is that my pastimes include reading and writing poetry, English and African Poetry preferably, watching TV series and sitcoms, making pathetic attempts at singing lyrics of my favourite songs😪, surfing the internet and delving into historical pages. I'm pretty much fascinated by people and culture of the past. Lest I forget, I also love trying new things out and learning is a habit I really can't do away with. Thank heavens, it isn't a really gross one. 😂<br />Lastly, I identify as a citizen of the country popularly known as 'The giant of Africa'; and that's none other than the Greenland, Nigeria. In case you're wondering, Nigeria is located in the subsaharan part of the world; Africa!<br />I'm glad to be here and I hope to do my best in contributing my quality contents to Minds and as well get in touch with creative and innovative minds. "content": "Okay, so I think I'll have to do this first.\n\nHello guys!\nI'm Hillary Powers by name and I'm so happy to be finally here on Minds. A very big thanks to my good friend, @kibls for persuading me to join this platform. I've actually registered on the platform since three months but I've been in a state of lethargy ever since. Now, I'm fully back and ready to contribute my own quota.\n\nSo, I've only mentioned my name. Now, let's have a little more information about me, shall we?\nHillary is a final year student of Language and Literary Studies and only has his graduation delayed, no thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown.\nIn addition to that, I'm a poet and author who has, at the moment, digitally published a handful of my poetry on different social media outlets and hopes to be legitimately published by the end of the year. (After the pandemic, so to speak) \nAlso, I'm a passionate lover of good music. Yes, not just any music but GOOD music. I love a wide variety of genres including but not limited to pop, CCM, Dance, folk, electronic, Metalcore, Alternative Rock, country music and a bit of rap music. Perhaps, this explains why some of my most favourite persons in the world are Avril Lavigne, Fleurie Noah Kahan, Joshua Hyslop, Michael Rosenberg, AKA, Passenger, Nate Ruess, Adam Lambert, Noah Kahan, Nate Feuerstein and those highly talented guys in Imagine Dragons and Kodaline. Trust me, I had to shorten the list as best as I could. Hehehe.\n\nIn simpler words, all I've been trying to tell you is that my pastimes include reading and writing poetry, English and African Poetry preferably, watching TV series and sitcoms, making pathetic attempts at singing lyrics of my favourite songs😪, surfing the internet and delving into historical pages. I'm pretty much fascinated by people and culture of the past. Lest I forget, I also love trying new things out and learning is a habit I really can't do away with. Thank heavens, it isn't a really gross one. 😂\nLastly, I identify as a citizen of the country popularly known as 'The giant of Africa'; and that's none other than the Greenland, Nigeria. In case you're wondering, Nigeria is located in the subsaharan part of the world; Africa!\nI'm glad to be here and I hope to do my best in contributing my quality contents to Minds and as well get in touch with creative and innovative minds.
