I've now set up my calendar(been working on that a lot lately) to remind me to do this every Monday. Going forward I should be more consistent now. <br /><br />Since my last post, I've accumulated a few quotes that I'm finding helpful to repeat as a mantra of sorts. <br /><br />\"Missing once is a mistake, missing twice is the start of a new habit\" - Keeps me consistent while also not getting mad at myself over missing the odd habit<br /><br />\"I before we, always\" - Prioritise my own development before others <br /><br />\"If you're not living your life for yourself, who's going to do it for you?\" - Helpful for not living to please others(innately I am a people pleaser)<br /><br />Currently, I don't have any books, I'm still consuming \"The courage to be disliked\" Finding it quite weighty as it requires a whole new way of thinking and approaching things. Starting this week. <br /><br />Quote : “This too shall pass” <br />Comments : I really like reminding myself of this because In good times I find it is a humbling reminder and in bad times it is comforting. A good reminder that life is always “flowing” constantly changing, full of peaks and valleys. <br /><br />Book : The courage to be disliked <br />Comments : I haven’t finished this yet but I believe for many this will be a life changing book. Completely changing my life philosophy and the way I think of my shortcomings and “problem” areas. Also really enjoy the way the book is presented as a dialogue between two people, creates a very impactful message in an easy to absorb format. <br /><br />Stay tuned for next week 😄 <br /><br />P.s it would be really cool if we all did this, exposing each other to our ideas, interests, learnings and life philosophies.
