"content": "It’s not rocket science people.<br /><br />People always say they want to be rich and have money and do things. Well- it’s easier than ever- if you put the work in. America is built on people’s wants, not needs If you just take 2 years of your life- the earlier the better- the rest of your life will be a cake walk. <br /><br />You don’t need that new $1000/ cell phone- even if it comes in payments. You don’t need that new couch- you’ll need another one in 2 years any way. That car with payments...don’t get it- there’s plenty of cars for 800 compared to 60 payments of 300 plus full coverage insurance. Find you a studio or 1 br- live meek. Work 2-3 pt jobs or a ft and a pt- all which you enjoy. You won’t have time to spend the money that you’re saving/earning. No cable, no dish, no pay for TV(100/mo). There’s free TV for news in 90% of American. Take your lunch. $3 vs $6 is 1000/yr. Read. After 2 years like this- you will quickly stack money. No shiny expensive shoes, no fad clothes- stay humble- work and save. More in/less out. Stash 5k- do not touch- ever if you do- pay it back + 500. Research how cities grow- buy a house cash when the market is ripe (usually when economy is bad). Make sure you have heat/plumbing/electric. - everything else is unnecessary. No more rent. Now work and save. Live this way for 2 more years- you’ll have 50k cash put back AND a paid for house. That’s better than 90% of America and it only takes 2-4 years. <br /><br />60 hours a week is no joke- it wears on the body/mind-so find jobs that you enjoy- maybe that can double as your social life. Find some free/cheap hobbies. Improve yourself. You will learn a lot - you’ll see plenty of opportunities...DO NOT SPEND- SAVE IT ALL. <br /><br />Now the rich part. <br /><br />Work your job And/or find a plan to make an extra $100/ day with the money you saved. Nothing illegal. I chose real estate rentals- some do stocks- some do small investments- be creative You no longer have rent- your utilities will avg 2-300/month Gas/insurance/ 200 month- food 100/week. Round expenses up- ALWAYS. That’s 3k coming in 1k going out. Save- learn. Challenge yourself to 200/day That’s 6k in 1k out/month. Save-learn- grow. Challenge yourself to 300//day. It’ll come. Patience - dedication - humble <br /><br />Eventually you’ll find that being rich isn’t about money- its about how you’re able to freely spend your time. <br /><br />Hard Work and Dedication for 2 years (730 days) will start you on the path of stress free life NO CREDIT CARDS/LOANS- NEVER <br /><br />A Mortgage is acceptable as long as there’s no PMI<br /><br />The goal in the short and long game is no debt. Little going out, more coming in. Stay humble, live meek- watch and copy the successful. <br /><br />I’ve been doing this for 18 years now- started out of college- decided I hated the office atmosphere - went the blue collar route- which turned out to double as my work out routine. I was dedicated to this way of life for the first 10 years- as I’ve gotten older the roofs seemed to have gotten steeper and I’ve found pleasure in traveling and volunteering. Now I’m 40- rested, healthy and ready for another growth spurt. I don’t spend much money- the rich people I’ve met rarely do. Market will be ripe in 2 -3 years for deals. Ebbs and flows. Work. Save. Humble <br /><br />",
