"content": "I encourage people to ditch closed and proprietary social platforms that don't respect privacy, freedom or security. <br /><br />I have officially left FaceBook (deactivated for now) and will ditch messenger in about a week ... when I'll completely cancel both.<br /><br />They don't allow you to completely cancel FaceBook and keep Messenger... otherwise I would have closed FB completely and then I'll follow up with canceling Messenger later.<br /><br />I encourage opens source, nonproprietary, secure, and respectful alternatives such as Minds... Signal, Element, Flote, Gab, MeWe, and Telegraph... if any of these are flawed in any of those respects above please alert me... and advise why. <br /><br />And do any of you have other favorites not mentioned? ",
