It seems to be like twitter or gab, I hope to able to post fairly lengthy blogs.

So to begin, I am here primarily because I’m hoping that I can meet someone who can tell what my religious/philosophical/political classification is. I know that I can’t possibly be the first person to have reached my conclusions on these issues but I don’t know what to call myself. I’m not sure I fit the most popular labels however I am open to the idea that I lack the objectivity needed here.

So hopefully thoughtful intelligent people seeking this type of conversation can steer me towards an answer.

I will begin by saying I am White, middle-aged, male, American, and a husband and father. I work full time as does my wife. Our 2 children are very young and neither of us has other children.

We attend a Lutheran Church, our kids go to a Lutheran pre-school, this is because my wife and her family are more religious than mine, and I have no issue with my children being raised Lutheran. Any of the Christian religions would have been acceptable to me. I support their Lutheran schooling and Church and I attend about a third as often as my wife does. I see religion as very important for my children, particularly while they’re young. When they are adults I may or may not confide my religious opinions to them. We are not a devout family and not Bible thumpers, I’m not even sure we own one.

I have voted in every election since being 18. I looked forward to it. I was excited about it. Now it’s just kind of depressing. Like paying tribute to some old tradition that was important in a different time. I don’t think voting really matters. It hasn’t seemed to change that much. I was born in 75 so I’ve seen R’s in charge and D’s in charge and it just seems like no matter who wins the White House or Congress we get more war, more debt, more “free” stuff, more immigration, and more of a police state. I have been listening to Jesse Ventura explain that both parties are the same party and I am having difficulty finding fault in his argument.

I think i’m probably right-leaning or somewhat conservative but I don’t like most conservatives. I like Ann Coulter but she loses me when she starts on black issues. She’s got an odd blind spot in her logic for some reason when this topic comes up. I like Stefan Molynuex but I certainly don’t want to remove all government and I’m not any kind of anarchist. Jared Taylor is a favorite of mine, as is Paul Kersey.

I don’t have any other social media accounts so I’m unsteady as to this one, I will check in periodically.

",
