I&#39;ve *ranted* about it in this thread focusing on Big Ag, but that&#39;s just one sector. The patterns repeat across many sectors and are connected systemically. </p><p>The authors of the book use cars as the example, but it&#39;s more or less the same for animal meat.</p><p>If you start to understand this, it&#39;s going to become very obvious where the right-wing and also the carnist bullshit is coming from and what else is coming down the bullshit sewer. </p><p>Understand this to better understand how to deal with the &quot;JOBS THO!&quot; argument, not just the &quot;NO ETHICAL CONSUMPTION UNDER CAPITALISM&quot;.</p><p>The authors point out that it&#39;s crucial to change the living conditions to actually express solidarity. The &quot;solidarity mode of living&quot; means that we don&#39;t live at the cost of others and of nature.
