For example in games like Elite Dangerous there is a \"flight assist\" that automatically compensates as you fly by stopping motions you're not continuing (eg you don't just keep floating in the same direction even as you turn for example.) You can turn it off, but of course it's on by default and most people only turn it off momentarily for maneuvers then back on (there is an option to only disable while holding.)</p><p>The game itself even simulates a maximum flight speed. You can't infinitely accelerate. (In fact the only game ever saw with \"infinite\" acceleration still sets a speed limit...)</p>",
