It&#39;s a keypad! 10 number keys that you press to punch in a code, It has existed for who knows how many decades. Why invest in making a touch sensitive, with flat keys and no tactile dot on the number 5. </p><p>A common skill tought to blind and low vision peiple is how to dial in numbers on a keypad just by identifying the raised to on the nubmer 5. </p><p>Go to any keypad with physical keys and check the number 5, it will have a raised dot on it, or right under it to make it easy to idetify with your fingers. Once you know where the 5 is it&#39;s easy to get to any other number on the pad. </p><p>But for that you need to be able to feel when you move from one button to another and not activate the number the moment you touch it. Flat capacitive keys don&#39;t let you do that.</p><p>Now a receptionist will have to buzz everyone in until an accessible alternative can be installed.
