"content": "
Here are my Top 3 Games of 2022:
3) Sonic Frontiers: It’s a good game that has its weaker moments, but we finally got a Sonic game that isn’t mediocre. I love the character writing and the theme of moving on. The open-zone formula is pretty fun. I know most of the comparisons are to Breath of the Wild, but it’s more like Super Mario Odyssey with its small challenges in the overworld. The game unfortunately loses steam towards the end, and it’s clear that they ran out of time, but I’m excited for Sonic’s future.
2) Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: It’s Borderlands but in a DND campaign led by a 13 year old. It has some of the best gameplay in the series, but suffers from a repetitive late game and overpriced DLC that lacks content.
1) Neon White: A 3D platformer with FPS elements. Your guns take the form of cards that can be discarded to help you platform through the levels. The gameplay loop is very reminiscent of Super Monkey Ball, where each level is bite-sized but challenging and addictive.
",
