"content": "<p>Of every game that I played in 2022, the one I was the most divided on was Final Fantasy XV. I really liked it at first, with its visuals, setup, open world, and combat (at times). The combat is fun, but it’s very easy to get blindsided by something offscreen. The open world is really fun and beautiful, but once you get onto the boat to Altissia, the open world is traded for linearity, and it feels like they just wanted to be done with development after this point. Later, you go to a desert that has some depth to it, but you barely go outside of the starting area. Those weapons you were told you needed to collect? Nah, most of them end up being optional. There are even chapters that consist of 1 area that can be completed in 5-10 minutes. Once I got to the final area and it slightly opened up again, I was ready to be done. I really wanted to like this game, but it has a ton of problems that brought it down to a 7/10 for me.</p>",
