"content": "One of my favorite gender critical essays, "An Open Letter to the Guy on Twitter Who Wonders if Biological Sex is Real" by Jonah Mix, was removed from Medium at some point last year. I'm not familiar with anything else he's written, maybe his account was removed for a legitimate reason, but it's a shame that such a solid piece of critical thinking was removed. It seems more and more obvious to me that even entertaining the debate is a concession, an assent to women’s lives being made the subject of thought experiments and counterfactuals plucked from the air by some post-grad who, coincidentally, has never once worried about pregnancy from rape."",

"content": "Here's another post from my Tumblr that's gone untouched by genderspecials at 200 notes. I will never be on TRAs side because of how quick they are to Uncle Tom me.<br><br>"Everytime you call a radfem take 'white feminist' just know that there are almost always women of color who agree with it and calling us white just because you disagree with us is extraordinarily racist<br><br>White feminism actually has a specific definition, but you wouldn’t know it the way these TRAs throw it around. It is feminism that purposefully excludes the experiences of women of color BASED ON THEIR COLOR, not feminism that criticizes porn, not feminism that criticizes gender, not lesbian feminism.<br><br>All these mfers out here like 'but some woc need to do porn to survive, some woc have gender identities, homosexuality excludes trans woc,' 'cultural relativism blah blah.' I’m well aware that many black women participate in patriarchy for survival, and gender and sexuality have nothing to do with race and ethnicity. Just because we participate in something does not make it a part of our ethnicity.<br><br>White TRAs don’t understand this because they’re the default and think that them being white means they can JUST be trans/lgb/whatever, meanwhile we have to have special noble savage gender identities that are only specific to us, so they can use them as a gotcha when they get called out for being white centric.<br><br>You wanna know what white feminism is? Assuming that any woman of color who acknowledges sex based oppression didn’t come to that conclusion on her own and is so naive and out of touch with reality that she must’ve had her views fed to her by white women."<br><br>I wrote this in January and reposted it last night. It's gained an additional 80 notes in agreement. I know what I read in "This Bridge Called My Back." Plenty of genderists claim to be familiar with the works of RADICAL women of color from the 80s and 90s, but refuse to critically think about the concrete, sex based terms they were using when they spoke of men, women, gender, and patriarchy.",
