Still chatty and kinda prolific, just not <em>daily</em>.</p><p>Right now, I&#8217;ve got a couple of articles in progress that haven&#8217;t come together yet. One, honestly, may not come together at all. The other likely will, but might become two posts, or who even knows exactly, not me. (If I knew, it&#8217;d already be out lol)</p><p>Since this is secretly &#8211; by which I mean not at all secretly &#8211; a WordPress blog, it&#8217;s not really set up for follow-backs or anything like that, so don&#8217;t take offence that I don&#8217;t follow back here. It&#8217;s technical, not personal. (Yes, I know about the Friends plugin. No, I&#8217;m not using it that way. See below.)</p><p>My personal account is over at <a rel=\"mention\" class=\"u-url mention\" href=\"https://mastodon.murkworks.net/@moira\">@<span>moira</span></a> and you will get a lot of short-form politics there, but also a lot of diy/maker noise (particularly but not just <a href=\"https://www.thingiverse.com/solarbird/designs\">3D printing</a>) some fannish bullshit, a lot of biking (<a href=\"https://github.com/solarbirdy/NorthshoreBikeMap/\">I maintain the largest-area detailed bike map in Cascadia</a>) and most of all BRACE BRACE BRACE for weekly <a rel=\"tag\" class=\"hashtag u-tag u-category\" href=\"https://solarbird.net/blog/tag/monsterdon/\">#monsterdon</a> participation on Sunday nights because that&#8217;s how I roll*.</p><p>You&#8217;ll get some of that here, too, but in long form. This isn&#8217;t a strictly politics blog. It&#8217;s just that when your very existence is a political football, well, that&#8217;s how it falls out. Hopefully I&#8217;ll get back to <a href=\"https://archiveofourown.org/works/16287893/chapters/38092361\">other kinds of writing</a>, too. (If you feel inclined, you might start with <em>On Overcoming the Fear of Spiders</em>, or maybe <em>Once Upon a Time, There Was an Armourer and a Living Weapon</em> if you like your violent political lesbian love stories <em>extra</em> fucked-up.)</p><p>I&#8217;m currently working on enabling this blog to be followed directly on BlueSky, via the Bridgy Fed gateway. It&#8217;s not working at the moment, but the Bridgy people think they might know what it is and have said they&#8217;ll fix what they found.
