"content": "none of this is real. this world is an illusion. it's all flashing lights keeping us from divinity. <br/><br/>the man with taste will tell you "this cocomelon stuff is rotting our kids' brains!", "we need to ban tiktok!", and so on. his palette is too refined to consume "brainrot." instead he watches game of thrones, a show for adults. he listens to the rolling stones, he plays call of duty, he uses twitter. <br/><br/>it's all flashing lights. <br/><br/>the woman of taste will tell you much the same. her palette, though, is even more refined. she watches lain, she listens to breakcore, she plays CDDA, she uses fedi. <br/><br/>it's all flashing lights. <br/><br/>the unplugged man, he thinks it's all too much. he doesn't even have a tv. he's outdoorsy. he's too busy going on hikes, camping, birdwatching.<br/><br/>it's all flashing lights. <br/><br/>the kingdom of god is with us, but we are too busy getting distracted by lights to see it. (here i say it in christian terms, but you can translate it to whatever your beliefs are. enlightenment if you are a buddhist, for example.)<br/><br/>take a step back, look at the lights, and see them as they are. it's all the same slop. now ask yourself, are you going to stop? will you become a monk, a nun, an ascetic? you won't. that's okay. i won't either. but we see the world for what it is, an infinite slop machine, and that's worth something. <br/><br/>do not be ashamed that you like slop. slop is fun, and you deserve to have some fun. the important thing is to see that it is slop, and to accept the absurdity of your sloppy, gay life. <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>PS: i wanted to work in something on the middle truth in Tianti Buddhism, but I'll leave that for the reader to look into.",
