The model has been identified as Lucretia Crivelli, or maybe Cecelia Gallerani, or perhaps Beatrice d&#39;Este....you see where this is going.</p><p>The attribution is also wobbly; it&#39;s unsigned, and some have attributed it to Bernardino de&#39;Conti or Giovanni Antonio Boltraffio.</p><p>Anyway...whoever she is, it&#39;s her expression that haunts. Is she being sultry? Angry? Tired?
