I'd dipped a toe into Friendica, but my instance shut down. Hoping to recapture that USENET feeling.</p><p>I'm a CS Lecturer at U of Maryland, focused on systems/security. I've been writing free e-textbooks (available at <a href=\"https://www.cs.umd.edu/~mmarsh/books.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" translate=\"no\"><span class=\"invisible\">https://www.</span><span class=\"\">cs.umd.edu/~mmarsh/books.html</span><span class=\"invisible\"></span></a>) for my students & anyone who finds them useful.</p><p>I'm into tabletop games (board/RPG - started with the original D&D Basic) and podcasts.</p>",
