Except it was people *choosing* to be part of a different nation to where they were based geographically.</p><p>That seemed unlikely, and continues to be - so I can't imagine people being allowed to live next door to one another and follow completely different laws, taxation, etc.*</p><p>It's more likely to be similar to dual nationality.</p><p>*Yes, yes, I'm anticipating your snarky comment about the UK class system 😉</p>",
