"content": "<p>It's clear to me that <a href=\"https://snabelen.no/tags/flathub\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>flathub</span></a> is the go-to vendor for Flatpak package distribution and as such, it sort of becomes a vendor lock-in situation... but <a href=\"https://snabelen.no/tags/Flatpak\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>Flatpak</span></a> supports third party repos OOB and <a href=\"https://snabelen.no/tags/snap\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>snap</span></a> doesn't. </p><p>Flathub has also been held to the fire and it lead to a change in policy, thanks to the likes of <span class=\"h-card\" translate=\"no\"><a href=\"https://mstdn.social/@BrodieOnLinux\" class=\"u-url mention\">@<span>BrodieOnLinux</span></a></span> shining a light on certain issues, like flathub enforcing <a href=\"https://snabelen.no/tags/gnome\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>gnome</span></a> like requirements and spiting <a href=\"https://snabelen.no/tags/QT\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>QT</span></a> apps, which has since been changed to be more inclusive.</p>",
