He needed a second antibiotic — lab work came back showing he had an infection resistant to the one he was taking — but my local vet was able to give that to me, saving me a long drive to the vet where he had his surgery. </p><p>All your well wishes for his recovery have been so much appreciated!</p><p><a href=\"https://sfba.social/tags/CatsOfMastodon\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>CatsOfMastodon</span></a> <a href=\"https://sfba.social/tags/today\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>today</span></a></p>",
