"content": "<p>Today and yesterday I published several updates on the Operating Superstars <a href=\"https://sakurajima.moe/tags/Wiki\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>Wiki</span></a> and was so excited after I spent the past few days finishing up chapter 10 of IWASD and drafting more articles!</p><p>Several <a href=\"https://sakurajima.moe/tags/Worldbuilding\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>Worldbuilding</span></a> details that were revealed in chapter 10 and a few more based on details that were revealed in earlier chapters have been added. </p><p>The first version of The Ship Deck and The Bell Tower articles were published and include details from the published chapters of IWASD, and the first version of The Orchard article includes details from “System Time Reset”:</p><p>📄<a href=\"https://operatingsuperstars.miraheze.org/wiki/Sectors\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" translate=\"no\"><span class=\"invisible\">https://</span><span class=\"ellipsis\">operatingsuperstars.miraheze.o</span><span class=\"invisible\">rg/wiki/Sectors</span></a> </p><p>I still don’t have a finalized map of Techlandia, but these articles reveal more about where some of the sectors are located relative to each other; their relative locations loosely take inspiration from real world geography. </p><p>📄 <a href=\"https://operatingsuperstars.miraheze.org/wiki/Disclaimers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" translate=\"no\"><span class=\"invisible\">https://</span><span class=\"ellipsis\">operatingsuperstars.miraheze.o</span><span class=\"invisible\">rg/wiki/Disclaimers</span></a></p><p>The Disclaimers article has just been published and was another one that was overdue. I tried to make this rewrite from the blog better get the point across that I intend about how I’m not striving for “100% accuracy” with following computing history. I considered adding a section to explain why I’m not striving for it, which is because I tried that in Version 1 and it didn’t work out. </p><p>My reasoning for trying then is complicated, but a major part of it is that I assumed back in 2021 a universe that had a huge scope and covered as much as it could of computing history had to exist (or was still expected to exist) due to an earlier precedent. </p><p>I tried back then because I hoped if I did, it’d help other creators *not* feel like they had to with their own so they’d feel free to make what they actually wanted. Due to that earlier precedent I would’ve also made it clear that my project isn’t “canon”, had it been published then. </p><p>This may be too unwieldy for the disclaimer page, but could still be explained as part of a separate manifesto, or within the Version 1 article.</p>",
