And it's the inevitable byproduct of algorithmic promotion -- clearly, if you promote one thing, another will be effectively demoted, because attention is a limited resource.</p><p>I never expected to be known outside of a niche group -- but it became impossible even to be seen by that group, because of artificial promotion.</p>",
