"content": "What is Environmental Selection theory?<br/><br/>In a nutshell, Seasonal environments selected for future visualization & delayed gratification, while Tropical environments did not.<br/><br/>Point 1:<br/>In a Seasonal environment, if you can't figure out that the seasons will change, and food may be unavailable for months at a time, you're dead.<br/>In a Tropical environment, the only seasons are wet/dry. The food that is there today will be there tomorrow will be there next week. Why worry?<br/><br/>Point 2:<br/>In a Seasonal environment, if you don't spend today collecting food & firewood for the winter (ants & grasshoppers), you're dead once the winter comes.<br/>In a Tropical environment? See point 1.
