In fact, Ghost Bears, while still using the typical &quot;Iron Womb&quot; of other clans to create new generations of warriors, see little difference and eventually all discrimination between &quot;Trueborn&quot; (those made in an iron womb) and &quot;Freeborn&quot; (those made naturally) would be essentually nullified. <br/><br/>Their sense of family, however, is something to truly behold. While other clans shunned the idea of community and friendship for a social-Darwinist view of life, the Ghost Bears see their community as the the thing that makes them strong. Multiple times in Battletech media, Ghost Bear mechwarriors would go &quot;berserk&quot; and maul those that slew what they considered to be family. And while traditional families (with surnames and the like) were banned by Clan Society, Ghost Bear would find kinship through genetic ancestry. <br/><br/>To me, the Ghost Bears are the perfect analogue to what the Internet ought to return to: A place of competitive ideas and strong wills that also share a common bond between each other.<br/><br/>...Plus, I mean...
