A medical officer will be consulted to<br/>determine whether any factors, such as age, health, or muscular<br/>condition will affect the amount of drop necessary for a proper<br/>execution. <br/><br/>J°. Rehearse the execution within 24 hours prior to the scheduled<br/>time for the execution. An official experienced executioner will be appointed by the officer charged with carrying out the execution. If<br/>one is not available to the command, a professional civilian executioner may be obtained and appointed. At the designated time the prisoner, with his wrists bound<br/>securely, accompanied by the chaplain, will be received by the prisoner guard and placed between the ranks.
