"content": "Chrono Trigger is such a fuckin 10/10 game. Masterpiece from how the world is in-itself apart of the main plot from small to huge ways and the way everything and so many of the NPC's are connected in some way. The OST slaps, the playable characters work pretty well, combat bangs pretty well, atmospheric stuff to boot. Actual fucking artists and people who dedicate themselves to creation and intelligent design did this. Even if you dont catch everything in this game, the basic beats are well told and everything has a proper narrative.

Next up, is Chrono Cross, a 4/10 game that threw pretty much everything about the old game under the bus, kept frog and magus but made them disgusting shells of their former selves (killed off the rest of the main cast from previous game iirc), busted its ass to be the "oh so unique" game it is even though the main characters trial was becoming a fucking furry who was stronger than him (big rawr vibes) and had final boss who was pretty much also lavos that you "needed" le legendary sword for in a convoluted mess of a game that led to a gacha sequel and barely remastered versions of Chrono Trigger with new shitty post game quests to help this nonsensical-ass sequel feel even a little relevant. So much guess work in a game where characters love to be silent and/or unhelpful. Half of all first playthroughs of this game are just guessing where to go next.

I want the Chrono Trigger remake to become real, but I dont want it to be further raped by the shit stain sequel that was made by the director who is on record as having said that they hate Chrono Trigger.",
