"content": "Tesla's prototype and demonstration model of his A/C Induction Motor is quite basic in design and should be easy to reproduce. However, there are no dimensional or specification drawings or information available. But, from reading Tesla's books and doing a little reverse engineering by photograph I have made a drawing and a plan. <br/><br/>Though this is something I would normally program and cut on a CNC in a few hours, I sold my shop a few years ago. So we're going "old school" with a drawing, layout on metal and drilling with a basic press. Cuts will be by hand saw. The Field and Rotor cores will consist of 15 low-carbon steel plates.
