"content": "Today marks the 20th anniversary of the American release of Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire Versions. While not my first generation, it was the first generation I finished, and I regard it as my favorite. In observance, I will start a run on Ruby, the version I grew up with, in a monotype Water play. The one governing rule will be that my team may only consist of monsters that are Water-type, in part or whole, until completing the main game (becoming the Hoenn League Champion). I was originally planning a Water monotype run for Emerald, but Ruby seemed more appropriate for the occasion.",
