Always wanted to build one but finally bit the bullet thanks to some good pricing<br/><br/>For $160, after tax, including parts we already had, we got some drives, RAM, and a prebuilt HP EliteDesk 800 G4, giving us:<br/><br/>- an Intel Core i5-8600<br/>- 24GB DDR4-2400<br/>- 512GB NVMe SSD<br/>- 2x 4TB 7200rpm HDD<br/><br/>The only upgrade we think we might reasonably make in the future is a low profile Intel Arc A310 for encoding, but even that seems excessive; the Intel iGPU should be pretty sufficient<br/><br/>All we have to do now is, uh…pick an OS >_>",
