In the ActivityPub protocol, all that's available for consent is Follow, Request, and Approval. </p><p>In the <strong>Fediverse,</strong> consent requires acknowledging each community and user's preference to interact with your service. Clearly you understand some signals for this (according to you, reading and respecting <a href=\"https://pawb.fun/tags/nobot\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>nobot</span></a>), but it needs to be explicit without those signals being present.</p><p>And of course servers (or instances) are involved with this, that's where the federation/blocklists/silencing comes from silly.</p><p>I said \"guidelines,\" thank you very much, and they were recommendations so that you don't have the responses that you're getting right now/people slandering your product.
