OBOD keeps the eightfold Wheel of the Year calendar common to Neopagans. Beginning with the Winter Solstice, these festivals are called Alban Arthan, Imbolc, Alban Eilir, Beltane, Alban Hefin, Lughnasadh, Alban Elfed, and Samhuinn. Often, the rituals honoring these festivals attempt to echo their historical analogues through either rote repetition or inspiration for modern-day updates (I personally have written a Samhuinn rite focusing on its connection to Death in the Tarot that I&#39;m very proud of).</p><p>Aside from these, communion with Nature is a strong commonality (so like I said, if you ever smoked some tree and went to hang out with some different ones...), as are creative/artistic pursuits. Using myself as an example, I and other Druids pursue the craft of music, the art of wandmaking, the writing of prose and poetry. </p><p>Many Druids also involve themselves in charity work and/or environmental causes, such as their time and means allow; animal shelters see a lot of Druids in places where we&#39;re more common (or so I&#39;m told).</p><p>Again, without a central unifying dogma, there&#39;s no demand to do anything in particular, so to a degree what you do on your own is your own business.
