I can only speak to what I know, so although I recommend looking into Ár nDraíocht Féin (ADF), the Ancient Order of Druids in America (AODA), and/or the Reformed Druids of North America (RDNA), for the other 2 parts of this I'll be describing my understanding of what I've learned in parts of all 3 grades in the UK-based Order of Bards Ovates and Druids (OBOD).

Membership in OBOD itself doesn't actually cost anything; the grades are totally optional and if you know an OBOD Druid willing to initiate you as a Bard, that's generally good enough as far as the Order is concerned.
