On the web it behaves like you said - there's a few I'm following whose profiles are empty but I think someone from this instance has to actually interact with the other instance, not just follow someone. Not sure.</p><p>Tusky seems fine, but I haven't tried other Mastodon mobile apps. It was the only full app out there back when I started using it, others were just a shell for a web browser.</p>",
