"content": "<p>This started out as 2 blocks of wood.<br />Started off my sketching out the dimensions and cutting approximately to size with a band saw.<br />Followed by sanding down to shape with a belt sander.<br />Then took a set of files and carved out the pommel.<br />Then used a powered hand sander to put the final flat surfaces on the blade.<br />Slide the guard into place.<br />After that, paint, glue, and leather.<br />Finally went over it with a dark wash to make it appear worn, and stained the green leather with dirt brown.</p>",
