"content": "<p>そういえば弊鯖ごあんないなんですが、v4.0.0に更新したらうちではトレンド機能を無効化します。</p><p>そもそもMastodonのトレンド自体が（自分のサーバーから見えてる連合の範囲内での）トレンド、とかいう井の中の蛙もいいところな機能だと個人的には捉えてるんですけど…</p><p>それに加えて例えば日本語圏のTwitterのトレンドって全文検索ありきというか、みんな普段の投稿でハッシュタグそんなに多用してないと思う（むしろ <a href=\"https://mstdn.maud.io/tags/%E3%83%8F%E3%83%83%E3%82%B7%E3%83%A5%E3%82%BF%E3%82%B0\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>ハッシュタグ</span></a> まみれの <a href=\"https://mstdn.maud.io/tags/%E6%8A%95%E7%A8%BF\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>投稿</span></a> をしている人を見かけると胡散臭く感じませんか？ウルトラ個人的な偏見だったらごめんね）んですけど、そこを全文検索がオプションかつ制約ありのMastodonで中途半端にトレンドハッシュタグだけやろうとしても余計に狭い範囲の流行りしか反映できないと思ってまして。英語圏だとまた違うんでしょうけどね。</p><p>そんな感じでトレンド機能には懐疑的なんですが、v4.0.0からはそんなトレンドが未ログイン時のトップページになるとのことで、ちょっとそれを受け入れ難いわたしは /about を取り戻すべく、トレンド機能を無効化します。というお話でした。長くてごめんね。</p>",
