"content": "<p><span class=\"h-card\" translate=\"no\"><a href=\"https://mathstodon.xyz/@theta_max\" class=\"u-url mention\">@<span>theta_max</span></a></span> I have a Boox Note Air - about the size of A5 paper, so not as roomy for reading as the Max Lumi 2 already mentioned, but as a grad student I find it easier to hold and carry to classes and office hours (& cheaper lol). one of my colleagues has a ReMarkable 2 he swears by, and I do think the writing experience is better on there, but no backlight and no apps (e.g. Kindle, sheet music) were killers for me too. tho I find reading and writing on either much nicer than on an iPad for sure</p>",
