They do not have heavy water demands and they share their pots with small vegetables. They do alright in high winds. They might lose their leaves, but will quickly grow back. I have not noticed any pest issues. Their leaves, bark and seed have a natural pesticide. Some species are quite cold sensitive. I do not recommend guanabana bc of this.
