So I wanted to create an annual event for black ppl to commemorate that moment and create a sense of continuity that seemed more sane, less fickle, more grounded. </p><p>Even so, it all feels like sand slipping through my fingers. We seem to move on so easily to the next thing, like aimless zombies, never looking back, never learning.</p>",
