"content": "<p>In a classic "it's me" move, now that it's January (after the <a href=\"https://mastodon.social/tags/DOScember\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>DOScember</span></a> deadline), I finally managed to boot the 486DLC into DOS.</p><p>Also wrote my first XT-IDE ROM in the process, not because it's technically needed, but because I wanted auto-detection, because I was too lazy to figure out the "geometry" of the 256MB DoM I use... 🤪</p><p>Also managed to get online using mTCP (IRC log feat. <span class=\"h-card\" translate=\"no\"><a href=\"https://mastodon.social/@ratman\" class=\"u-url mention\">@<span>ratman</span></a></span>), and figured out this thing is pretty slow for a 486DLC.
