The MCs antisocial attributes, & his supposed feud with his family, were regularly mentioned but never demonstrated; he was socially adept throughout,& consistently got along with his mildly quirky, posh siblings. There was a running joke that ran far too long, and a few confusing turns of phrase.</p><p>But it was witty, the MC was a pleasure to read, the characters appealing, and it was good, cozy romance. 👍</p><p><a href=\"https://mastodon.social/tags/bookstodon\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>bookstodon</span></a></p>",
