But the odd part is the MC, who’s declared from the start to be a brilliant young curmudgeon who’s bad in social settings. But he’s not only friendly, he navigates complex social settings fairly easily. </p><p>I like him (& the whole cast) but his rep’s like an idea the author had, but only had it in her to write a nice guy.
