Tapes didn't fare too well in hot climates.</p><p>Today, far later than I ought, I grabbed a USB tape deck (an Ion Tape2PC, gloriously ridiculous thing), hooked it up to my test laptop, and hit play.</p><p>It worked. Some conversions and testing later, I had both WAV and CAS files.</p>",
