I myself did not RX or QSO for about 25 years until I restarted in 2018. Back in 1994 I was a regular <a href=\"https://mastodon.radio/tags/OSCAR\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>OSCAR</span></a>-13 operator and did some 2m <a href=\"https://mastodon.radio/tags/SSB\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>SSB</span></a> (due to license restrictions at that time HF was out of reach). After stumbling across public <a href=\"https://mastodon.radio/tags/KiwiSDRs\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>KiwiSDRs</span></a> I recognized that Hamradio is far from dead and decided to go into <a href=\"https://mastodon.radio/tags/morse\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>morse</span></a> and <a href=\"https://mastodon.radio/tags/HF\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>HF</span></a> in 2018 – with really some success.</p>",
