I’m a huge fan of free and open-source software, so I naturally gravitated toward Matrix for the chat setup right from the start. But honestly, #Matrix isn’t always the smoothest ride - especially for newcomers. It can get a bit tricky, and that’s the last thing I want when I’m trying to make people feel at ease. It’s just simpler for a lot of people, and I want to meet folks where they’re at. But I’m not a fan of scattered conversations across platforms - it drives me nuts - so I’ve bridged the main channels on Discord and Matrix.
