It says platforms »must take reasonable steps to prevent children who have not reached a minimum age from having accounts.«</p><p>The law does not specify what \"reasonable steps\" are, but has provisions for punishment when they're not \"reasonable\" enough (63D), or when the related <a href=\"https://mastodon.de/tags/PII\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>PII</span></a> isn't properly handled (63F).
