Turned the "corner" by putting slip-stitches into the single crochets. This is a new idea for me (I usually do it by crocheting in the back loops)
3. One row of single crochet, and then one row of Linen stitch, still with the 4mm hook.
4. Then onto the main event: Linen stitch with a 6.5mm hook! This was what I had calibrated on in my first version. Plus doing a mixture of single-crochet and half-double crochet to keep the stitches calibrated, rather than just doing single-crochet in the "stich" part of the Linen stitch (which, if you recall, is a mixture of single crochets and chain-spaces).

#WIPWednesday #Crochet @crochet
",

"name": "A piece of crochet in Moss/Linen stitch, in the round on a round base, making a cylinder. It is a work in progress, with a purple stitch marker holding the live stitch. On the other side of the crochet is an orange stitch marker marking the start of the round. The yarn is multi-coloured: yellow, green, blue, and purple. Planned pooling of the colours has created diagonal stripes of colour.",
