"content": "
Part of the intensity of the past week was the memorial for Eileen Kramer, dancer, choreographer, costumer designer, artist and writer., who died at the age of 110. An original Bodenwiser dancer.

She said her last decade (from 100 - 110) was her most productive - she wrote 4 books (including illustrating them), featured in countless dance films made by my SIL, appeared in numerous tv shows and interviews, choreographed most of her dances, made all of her dance costumes. All on the smell of an oily rag. She was still creating the day before she died. Such an inspiration, she was loved by many.

More about the memorial later, but I wanted to show you this video, made for David Orlowsky and David Bergmüller's music called Eileen. It was made when Eileen was 107. The Davids commissioned the video for the work in their new album and it shows Eileen's amazing ability to transmit emotion in her dance. Here, it is reverie, memories, reminiscences.

It won one of the highest awards for music videos in Europe.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSAVvLHQzho

More on Eileen is here: https://eileen-kramer.com/
",
