I'm a journalist who covers hate and extremism in the US at a publication I launched called The Informant.</p><p>I began my career almost 20 years ago at a local newspaper in Arizona and later worked on staff at Talking Points Memo and the Southern Poverty Law Center. I've also freelanced a lot.</p><p>I enjoy art and graffiti. I was recently diagnosed with <a href=\"https://masto.ai/tags/LongCovid\" class=\"mention hashtag\" rel=\"tag\">#<span>LongCovid</span></a>, which has drastically changed my life. But I'm still here.</p><p>Please feel free to say hi.</p>",
